La provincia di Pesaro
e Urbino è la più settentrionale
della regione Marche, e anche per questo rappresenta
un crocevia strategico dal punto di vista turistico:
compresa tra il mare Adriatico e i monti dell'Appennino,
a diretto contatto con |
Romagna, Toscana e
Umbria, è il luogo ideale
da cui partire per escursioni e visite un po' in tutto
il centro Italia di cui rappresenta una felice sintesi.
Colpisce di questa terra la varietà cromatica
scandita dalle stagioni, che si succedono in un incedere
di emozioni uniche, distribuite dal verde dei boschi
all'azzurro del mare in un armonico insieme: lungo
il litorale si stendono spiagge dolcemente declinanti,
tra il continuo gioco delle colline imminenti puntellate
di antichi borghi e castelli. Storia e ambiente sono
un tutt'uno. Urbino conserva l'atmosfera di città ideale
del Rinascimento italiano. Attorno ad essa c'è il
Montefeltro, ricco di rocche e ruderi su rupi impervie,
santuari e pievi in mezzo a pascoli aperti o sulle
soglie dei boschi, e ancora palazzi principeschi e

Pesaro and
Urbino is the northernmost province in the
Marche region, and as such representing a strategic
crossroads from the touristic point of view. Situated
between the Adriatic sea and the Apennine mountains
in direct contact with |
Romagna, Tuscany and
Umbria, it is the ideal base from where to visit and
explore the territories of central Italy, of which
it is a prime example. One of the striking aspects
of the area is the amazing variety of colours displayed
by the changing seasons, a tuneful composition that
emanates from the green of the wooded hills to the
blue of the sea, firing emotions like only nature can.
As does the long coastline with its gentry sloping
beaches nestling against a backcloth of hills surmounted
by ancient hilltowns and castles. History and nature
blend to become one and the same. Urbino still preserves
the atmosphere of the ideal Italian renaissance town
set in the territory of Montefeltro, an area rich in
castles and ruins standing on impervious crags, sanctuaries
and churches rising out of open fields or nestling
on the edges of woods, stately homes and solemn ducal

Die Provinz von Pesaro
und Urbino ist die nördlichste
der Region der Marken und auch deshalb in touristischer
Hinsicht ein strategischer Kreuzweg: zwischen dem adriatischen
Meer und den apenninischen Bergen, in direktem Kontakt
mit der |
Romagna, Toskana und
Umbrien liegend, ist sie der ideale Ort, um fast das
gesamte Mittelitalien kennen zu lernen, dessen vollkommene
Synthese sie ist. Was in diesem Land so sehr beeindruckt,
ist die überwältigende
Vielfalt der Farben im Laufe der Jahreszeiten, vom satten
Grün der Wälder, bis zum Azurblau des Meeres
bilden sie ein harmonisches Ganzes: entlang der Küste
erstrecken sich sanft abfallende Strände, die nahen
Hügel schmücken sich mit antiken Dörfern
und Burgen. Geschichte und Natur sind eins. Urbino hat

der Montefeltro, reich an Burgen und Ruinen auf unwegsamen
